Our History

Two architects, one shared vision.

Design Dimensions is a partnership of two architects who — after gaining multi-dimensional experience at different consultancies and offices over a period of almost nine years — were carrying out their independent private practices in Lahore.

The contemplation of sharing experiences to provide state-of-the-art services and establish a professional consultancy steered them to join hands in 2007. Since then, the firm has created new horizons and adorned them with the ideal qualities of architectural & engineering consultancy and construction.

Waqar Ahmad

Architect & Partner

Gold Medallist B.Arch from UET Lahore (1998) and member of the Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP). Recognised with a certificate of appreciation from the Pakistan Society of Geographical Information for his research work, Waqar has designed numerous commercial and residential projects and earned many satisfied clients. His command over his field is reflected in every project he executes.

AWA Consultants (2001–2011) — design of numerous Bank AL Habib branches.
Allied Bank Limited (2000–2004) — in-house architect, branch design & project management.

Salman Ahmad Sayal

Architect & Partner

B.Arch from UET Lahore (1998) with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Design from AIOU (2006). Member of PCATP and Associate of the Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP). With cross-border experience, his portfolio spans clinics, college campuses, news-channel studios, offices of MNCs, banks, resort housing and numerous homes — in Pakistan and abroad.

Kalim Siddiqui & Associates (2001–2006) — Senior Architect / PM; projects incl. CNBC (Pakistan, Arabiya, Africa), Aligarh College, resort facilities in the West Indies and bank projects across the region.
